Library Furniture BroadcastIng 1990

Contemporary md-branded library (broadcast furniture, later taken over by grange). Model "lutece" in natural oak with ionic columns. Part of one of the last collections of an iconic manufacturer, now extinct, known for its libraries from the beginning of the 20th century. Purchased in february 1990 at 59, 355 frf (current eur 14, 000 with inflation). What about flaws. Slight discoloration on the bottom of the library (soil). Holding jacks (invisible once the library is mounted) have been torn off during dismantling and will probably be repaired by a cabinetmaker. However, it is not mandatory because the library holds very well on its own, since it is a freestanding structure. Some traces of wear here and there, the furniture is 30 years old and has been used. The library is currently mounted in a long configuration, 3.03 m (length) X 40cm deep but in theory it must be mounted with an angled return. The missing ledge in the photo is due only to this long mount, it does not appear in normal configuration. The shelves are very thick and the storage capacity of this library is impressive. The total height is slightly below 2.45m. All original documents (quote, invoice, delivery voucher) can be provided.
