Plat by Robert and Jean Cloutier, circa 1960

Very large oval dish by robert and jean cloutier, the twin brothers of french ceramics with a rich and dreamlike universe, often tinged with humor. In red earth with enamel engobe in the blue tones very typical of their work in the 60s, it adorned with a decoration of fish to the bird. Incised signature cloutier under the base. Very good condition, direct provenance from the artists' studio.
