Bouquet of anemones Jean-René Nys

Oil on wooden panel signed jean-rené nys representing a bouquet of anemones in a vase. Size of the painting: 39 X 29 cm painter from the north, jean-rené nys has a recognized price and his works can be found in a number of auctions. Jean-rené nys, born march 29, 1907 in tourcoing, son and grandson of a painter and decorator. From the age of 9, he attended the school of fine arts. He was admitted to the salon des artistes français in 1929 where he had his first personal exhibition in 1930. Subsequently, he obtained numerous distinctions for his work in painting and drawing of ornaments. He was a decorator at the municipal theater then appointed professor at the school of fine arts where he taught imitation on wood and marble, and the execution of letters until 1968. He also taught graphic arts courses at students in the artistic and drawing sections of the building. He died in 1972. A very nice little work to complete or start a collection.
