Pair of emu eggs, brass bases, 1st half XXth

Real pair of naturalized (emptied) emu eggs naturally green / blue on brass bases dating from the first half of the twentieth century. Small sparkle on the top of an egg. Unlike ostrich eggs, emus eggs are naturally black, the rarest like these have a green/bluish tint. Sold in pairs. Egg size with base: (height) 21 / 22 cm X (width) approx. 8.5 cm X (depth) approx. 8.5 cm. Dimension bases: Approx. (height) 10.5 cm X (width) 4 cm X (depth) 4 cm.
