Wicker laundry basket

This large cylindrical openwork wicker basket will bring a cozy and natural touch to your bathroom as a laundry basket or in a bedroom to store cushions or soft toys. The woven wicker is openwork on a strip a third of the height all around the basket. It is very slightly flared. I cleaned it carefully, using a brush and vacuum cleaner, as well as cleaning the interior bottom with white vinegar and a hand shower, followed by a good drying in the sun. It must date from the 60s or 70s and does not hide some signs of its age and use: a few broken strands on the openwork part, on the high edge (where I put a few dots of wood glue, invisible, to prevent certain strands from breaking anymore) and at the bottom inside as well as abrasions on the strands below but it remains very solid. It measures 57 cm in height with a diameter of 45 cm at the top edge and 38 cm at the bottom.
