Duo of candle holders "rats-de-cave" in old enamelled sheet metal

Both candle holders are in good condition, they are both complete, the handles are very solid, and the coils are well welded to the supports. They are very patinated by use, and the blue enamel is sometimes missing, the metal having then rusted. This has created a beautiful authentic patina, which has a crazy charm. The candle holders were completely cleaned with steel wool, then waxed with natural beeswax, to stop the action of rust. For maintenance, it will be enough to rub them regularly with the help of a soft cloth. They date from the beginning of the twentieth century.
