Oil on panel "herd of cows in the Norman bocage" 1924, painting with countryside landscape

Magnificent oil painting on wooden panel representing a herd of cows grazing in a norman bocage. It is dated lower right "1924", the signature is illegible. The light on this painting is incredible: the day is setting (or rising?), the shades in the sky offer a very moving gradient of pink, and we can easily imagine that the day that follows will be beautiful and sunny.the cows are beautifully painted, some in the distance with a single brushstroke. In good condition given its old age (100 years this year!!), note: signs of age, cracks in the paint on the wood, some paint missing on the left side. Dimensions: 40.5 cm long / 27 cm high. Weight: 265 grams. It is an old painting, it may contain traces of time and imperfections which make it a unique piece with a story! Do not hesitate if you have any questions !.
