Mado desk with drawers and stool, circa 1950

Pretty vintage mado desk from the 50s. In wood painted in a white tending to a “vanilla” color, it has 7 drawers and a door opening onto 1 shelf. In its original patina, it also has its beveled glass plate which covers the top and its vintage stool in wood and chrome. Very clean, it has been completely cleaned. It is therefore perfectly healthy, functional and usable as is. It is also very stable and the drawers and door open and close without difficulty. The stool, whose round seat is made of wood, can be adjusted in height. We like the rounded shapes of this desk, the beautiful original aluminum handles and its small size which will be perfect for a child. Visible traces of time and wear consistent with age. There is a small chip on the inside corner of the glass plate (see magnifying photo), traces of oxidation on the legs of the stool and small paint losses in places (see all photos) height: 75 cm width: 99 cm depth: 50 cm diameter of stool seat: 33 cm height of stool at lowest: 41 cm.
