Founded in 1957 by chaim schreiber, schreiber furniture is an interesting british success story. The company was one of the biggest names in furniture in the 70s, rivalling g plan and other well known manufacturers. In 1973 they added fitted kitchen to their range, and created 280 schreiber furniture centre shops throughout uk. This extending dining table and chairs set is typical of the schreiber style. Wood grain formica table top, black leatherette upholstery with solid beech tapering legs. Size. Width fully extended 142cm. Width unextended 96cm. Depth 137cm. Height 74cm.
