Description
Art deco dressing table from the 1930s, structure in fruit wood and burl wood veneer (presumably elm). It has 4 drawers, two large and two small. The beveled mirror has scattered traces on its outline linked to the old-fashioned glass. The piece of furniture is in good condition, I note a few slightly larger scratches on the top, and a very slight difference in color on the latter. I also point out a gap in the veneer at the back of the furniture, therefore invisible once in place. A repair with tinted wood paste was carried out below the mirror (visible in photo). The superb metal plates with floral decorations are of the most beautiful effect and clearly in the pure art deco style. The upper part is placed on the tray and held at the back by two screwed metal legs (the piece of furniture will therefore be delivered in two parts). The advantage of this dressing table is that it is light and easy to set up. A very beautiful piece of furniture at an affordable price, with some slight defects giving it a unique charm (what could be more normal for an almost century-old piece of furniture).
