Set of XL Chandeliers by Danilo & Corrado Aroldi for Stilnovo, 1970s

Beautiful set of two xl chandeliers of typical 1970s italian design, made by danilo e corrado aroldi. The lights were manufactured in the 1970s by well known italian stilnovo company. They have a very unusual design in the form of triangular fruit columns arranged in a row and covered with plexiglas panes. Light shines out of the side openings. The angle of the covers can be adjusted as required. This creates a wonderfully subdued light. The quality is of excellent craftsmanship, the black varnished details are made of brass internally. Other materials are plexiglass and chromed steel. The pair is only sold together, as they are quite rare to find as a pair. Very good vintage and working condition with small signs of wear and use. All bulb holders new.
