Old Guillot & Company siphon in twisted green glass

Old twisted green glass siphon. Marked "guillot & compagnie", "sirops vins liqueurs et limonades" "dijon" and "a bouvret", "compagnie parisienne paris 2 avenue daumesnil" on the tin head. Wear and traces of time, complete. Height: 30.5 cm. Seltz water siphons are bottles that were found between 1900 and 1950 in pharmacies, cafes, breweries. These siphons are composed of a thick glass bottle that allowed to resist the pressure, a tin head held by a clamping ring and a glass plunger tube that allowed the liquid to come out. Today they are beautiful decorative objects.
