This sublime coffee service is in sterling silver from the beginning of the 20th century. Consisting of a coffee maker, a teapot and a sugar bowl, it is a magnificent set, perfect for serving and enjoying tea or coffee. In an elegant shape, they are perched on slender legs adorned with palmettes, adorned with motifs of wreaths and floral garlands, rocailles, crossed ribbons and neoclassical ornaments. Henri soufflot is a french master goldsmith, established in 1884 at 89 rue turbigo in paris. Its hallmark is "hs with a star and a sun". In solid silver, this set bears the minerva hallmark for 925/1000 silver. In good general condition, it has scratches from use, traces of oxidation and small dents. The total weight is 1750 grams. The coffee maker weighs 674 grams and measures 26 X 20 cm. The teapot weighs 634 grams and measures 22 X 17 cm. The sugar bowl measures 14 X 15 cm and weighs 442 grams.
