You will notice that this is a state. At henri rivière, the states are color variants compared to the original model. It is signed and monogrammed with a red stamp in the board. We report that the lithography has a tear of 3 cm in the margin on the right, some small tears on the edges as well as yellowing, spots in the margin. We have taken as many pictures of the defects as possible so that you can judge the condition. Sold as presented. Henri rivière (1864-1951) was a french painter, engraver and illustrator. He began his career with drawing and then with intaglio engraving and specifically etching in 1882. At the same time, he began a career as a director and scenographer, in 1886, from shadow theatre to the cabaret du chat noir, shows that he improved by creating highly innovative colour sets. He then devoted himself exclusively to painting and engraving and established himself in the history of etching, printmaking, wood engraving, lithography and watercolor (he painted about a thousand watercolors).
