Cargo trunk or seat. Wood and metal, France around 1900.

For storage use or to seat 2 children. Made of planks assembled by blackened wooden slats. The edges and corners are protected by cut-outs of blackened metal sheets with visible studs. There are signs of wear everywhere. Both clasps do not have a key. Clean interior lined with period wallpaper, cleaned, restored and varnished.
