Description
The small cream pitcher is in perfect condition, no accidents, no cracks or splinters. It is an enamelled sandstone of the abbey of Notre-Dame de Fontgombault, located in the Indre, and created by the Benedictine monks in the eleventh century. The pitcher dates from the first half of the twentieth century. The brown enamel is very rich, and very fine, as well as the grain of the earth, which gives this small pottery a design with a precise and delicate line. The two condiment pots are in very good condition, the slurry pot shows some wear marks on the reliefs, in the form of slight enamel deficiencies. It also has some tiny splinters the size of a pinhead inside the collar, visible in the detail photo correspondante.il is a slurry of very beautiful workmanship, heavy, with beautiful enamel with metallic reflections, dating from the second half of the nineteenth century. Regional artisanal French production. The cylindrical pot is perfect, no accidents, no cracks or splinters. It is a beautiful simple and authentic pottery, also dating from the late nineteenth century. The three objects respond perfectly, and all evoke the beauty of ancient folk art objects. The dimensions entered in the advertisement are those of the pitcher. The slurry pot is 12.5 cm high, by 6.5 cm wide. The cylindrical pot is 12 cm high, by 8.5 cm wide.
