Description
Culinary pottery of vallauris signed foucard-jourdan and numbered 13 in hollow. Glazed terracotta serving as a "pignate" or daubière which presents natural earth and green-gray tones. The foucard family has been living in vallauris since 1630 and the workshop of françois and his wife produced from the end of the 19th until the 30s. The object is in very good general condition. Note however 1 small sparkle on the edge, a lack of cover inside and 2 small splinters on a handle visible in the photos. Opening diameter 13.5cm.
