Old dresser with white marble

I put for sale Gisele an old dresser (1800s) with a white marble on top restored and beautiful by me! 🤩 This old lady has two large drawers and a marble period with some shards (see photo) in good condition (some scratches also which is normal for her age). The handles (beautiful by the way) are original I simply cleaned them because they had blackened over time. I restored and sublimated it with love to give it a new chance to be adopted. It can give a nice vintage touch full of softness to your interior. It is paloma (mole/mauve), Antoinette (pale pink) and Scandinavian Pink (dark pink) by Annie Sloan. I skated it and then waxed it with a black finish. I redid the bottom of the drawers and then applied flower-patterned wallpaper in pink and mauve tones (nicer). I had fun bringing out with the dark pink the small raised marqueteries on the drawers, the patina softened the colors and the backgrounds between them. The whole thing goes very well with the white marble and its small "defects". This little sweetness is a feast for the eyes. Please take into account that even refurbished furniture I propose retain certain brands and traces of wear that make their charm! Don't expect smooth furniture without asperities but character furniture proud to be able to shine again! 😉
