Nubian coffee table, maison romeo paris. 1970s. Large octagonal glass slab with peripheral bevel. It is carried by 2 squatting nubians in gilded carved wood, a mixture of gold and black lacquered. Iconic model from the romeo house, faubourg saint antoine in paris. Numerous references to public auctions. Superb condition, no wear of gilding, just patina of use for a 50 year old piece of furniture. Glass intact. Dimensions: length 130 cm width 70 cm height 54 cm.
