Murano glass bar set

Vintage set of five goblets and a pitcher in Murano glass in different colors. They are part of the Lidia Collection, created by Umberto Nason for Nason Moretti, Verrerie de Murano, Venice, which allowed them to win the Compasso d'Oro prize in 1955. It is made of “incamiciato” glass, i.e. two layers of glass superimposed. But Umberto Nason had the idea of swapping the sides, that is to say the colored glass on the inside and the milky white on the outside, and creating objects with a refined design. They can be found in the collection of the MoMa in New York (see screenshots from their site). This model does not appear to be in production currently. The whole is in very good condition. Pitcher size approx. H: 19.5cm and Ø: 10. Gobelets approx. H: 8cm and Ø: 7.5cm
