Bedside or 1940s extra furniture marine spirit

Bedside (or extra furniture) 40s, marine spirit. Height 65 cm, width 50 cm, depth 37 cm. Furniture in oak painted parts, marble tray painted in solidarity with the furniture. Beautiful storage capacity (niche - shelf above the niche - drawer). The painted parts were hued with natural paints in dispersal without solvents (3 layers). The base received a patina (white). The entire piece of furniture (including tray) was then protected by applying hard oil (3 layers). The shelf above the niche is in two parts. All the work was done by an artisan cabinetmaker trained in furniture makeover techniques.
