Ivan rabuzin is a croatian painter known for creating geometric patterns of vegetation and clouds that transform into pastel-colored arabesques. Rabuzin was a self-taught painter who studied art by visiting galleries and reading books about different artists. Born on march 27, 1921, he did not begin painting until 1944. He finally had his first solo exhibition in 1956 and was recognized as a croatian naïve artist in 1963. In 1972, the french art critic anatole jakovsky said rabuzin was one of the world's "greatest naive painters." he died on december 18, 2008 in a croatian hospital. Poster in excellent condition.
