Children's straw chair

This straw chair for children has certainly already had many lives, and I hope it will find others. It was painted white several times, I found several different layers, perhaps it was natural to begin with. I just scraped off the peeling paint, to offer it to you in its original state, with its patina of the years. It's up to you if you want to use it like this or for a makeover project. I cleaned it carefully, all the marks that remain are indelible unless I sand them. The straw also shows the patina of time, with its numerous abrasions and frayed fibers, but the seat nonetheless remains very solid. I cleaned the mulch with a brush and white vinegar. I applied a thin layer of transparent matte varnish to the structure to stabilize the white paint and prevent it from flaking further. The structure is also still very solid. It measures 45 cm in height at the backrest, approximately 20 cm in height at the seat, 27.5 cm on the side and 23 cm in depth.
