Description
This 19th century pot in vernissée earth is in good condition. There is a small sheen at the bottom, on the edge of the base, visible in the photos. It's an old-timer. This type of pot was used to store food, and was closed with a piece of burlap, held with a string. It is a beautiful object of popular art.
