Description
This old absinthe glass is made of very fine blown glass. Beautifully transparent, it has been blown to the mouth and there are bubbles in the glass - clues of its artisanal manufacture. It is an absinthe glass used in bistros and cafes in the 19th century. The drinker is wide to receive the absinthe spoon. Sugar was deposited and water poured over the sugar to dilute the absinthe. This glass is in very beautiful condition and measures 18 cm in height and 9.5 cm in diameter.
