J.Pouchain - Atelier Dieulefit - Bottle and 2 cups

Dieulefit workshop - jacques pouchain (1927/2015) Bottle/bottle and its cap (rare), in ceramic, and two cups created and manufactured at the Dieulefit workshop between the 50s/70s, by j.pouchain. Beautiful pieces. The enamel is in very good condition, with some very slight chips on the underside of the cups, invisible when the objects are placed (photos). Jacques Pouchain began studying architecture in Paris, but interrupted them and left for the south at the age of twenty-five; he settled in Dieulefit and opened a ceramic workshop there. His first pieces were inspired by pets, then he moved towards abstraction. Great strength, great power in his works, sometimes quite spectacular in his abstract sculptures.
