Vintage modernist vase Hungary 1960s

Ceramic vase of modernist form. A fine example of post-war european ceramics, made in hódmezővasarhely majolikagyár, hungary, circa 1960. Amazing textural finish consisting of creamy white and blackened amber. This particular vase features gridded lines of varying spacing that extend over the surface of the ceramic, with ovals centered in space stabilizing the pattern. Prussian blue enamelled interior that creates depth and light absorption. Good and beautiful condition, small chips of enamel at the collar, see photos. Height 22 cm, max diameter 28 cm. Neck diameter 16 cm, base 13 cm.
