Wonderful chaise longue, model LC4 with ponyskin, designed by Le Corbusier, Pierre Jeanneret and Charlotte Perriand for Cassina in 1965. The chaise Longue was born from the inspiration of the three design artists who wanted to design a comfortable home furniture, where every person could rest, even without sleeping, relaxing the head, shoulders, back and legs. Initially designed in 1928, the chaise longue was only serially produced from the mid-60s, and would become a design icon over the years. The chrome-plated tubular steel structures lies in the black metal frame, the headrest has the original black leather upholstery, the mattress is upholstered with the original brown and white spotted pony skin. The chaise longue LC4 by Le Corbusier has a variable inclination and can be positioned in various poses, this allows greater comfort and a perfect anatomical shape of the body during rest. Condition: Excellent! Dimensions: D160 x W56 x H70cm
