Pair of J. Lang model armchairs by Philippe Starck, Driade 1987

This pair of model J armchairs was designed by Philippe Starck in 1987 for Driade. These armchairs were part of the Lang collection, created to furnish the French Ministry of Culture, in reference to the minister of the time, Jack Lang. Their minimalist and comfortable design remains iconic, with their structure covered in black leather and their profiled cast aluminum rear base. Publisher's label under the base.
