Antique french cast bronze candlestick & ashtray by f. barbedienne-19th century

Antique, 19th century french cast bronze candlestick and ashtray by ferdinand barbedienne (1810-1892) in classical style with a lidded ashtray decorated with a masqueron with the tongue as a handle, the candlestick is also decorated with a masqueron at the front. Signed f. Barbedienne at the base. Wear consistent with use and age, original patina, no damage or repairs, in excellent vintage condition.
