Greek illustration coffee service signed d. Vassilopoulos 📍 set of 3 cups and 4 saucers with hand-painted greek illustrations by d. Vassilopoulos, inspired by the decor of a lekythos (ancient greek lekythos vase used to store perfumed oil intended for body care) from the louvre museum (460 bc) 📍 gilded with fine gold with dominant colors of green, gold, red, creamy white on a black background which give a magnificent rendering. 📍 each piece is signed 📍 ceramic, earthenware, doorware from the 1960s-1970s 📌 dimensions: saucer: ø 12cm cup: height 6cm ø 6cm ⚠️ good condition for their age, no chips or cracks to report. Traces of imperfections enamel inside the cups: some original bubbles and marks of use. 📷 this article has gone through time, fashions, is representative of an era.
