Description
Wall secretary to designer Marcel Gascoin (1907-1986) - arhec editor. Made of oak, with slanted side studs, opening in front by a feller that frees a writing table covered with a leatherhand, a drawer and shelves. Around 1950. The secretary is in good general condition (see photos) and very robust. Marcel gascoin is one of the most important french designers. He is known as a pioneer of the social rationalist movement and a pillar of the post-war reconstruction movement. Note: the underhand (traces of wear), can be renovated or possibly removed, depending on the sobriety you want to give to this piece of furniture.
