Coffee or tea set Vallauris

🌼 tea or coffee set by the talented french ceramic artist marie-christine treinen, manufactured in the seventies in vallauris 🌼 This set was baked and painted in her atelier in vallauris, a municipality between antibes and cannes. As we already explained before, vallauris is known worldwide as the “capital of ceramics”, thanks to (among others) picasso, who lived and worked there between 1948 and 1955. Marie-christine treiner was specialized in ceramic enamels. Her artwork is easily recognizable by its characteristic, abstract and colorful decors (often birds or flowers, as is the case here). All pieces are signed “treinen vallauris” on the bottom. Condition: perfect vintage condition, except two cups that have a small chip on the upper edge (see pictures).
