Description
An impressive Office of domain Secretary of the late nineteenth century. Constructed from thick cuts of solid oak with rich patina and well-figured Wild Honey grain. The upper part has a Brown gilded chestnut leather writing surface using fall arrest flaps, pigeon holes and shelves flanked by Panel doors and closed shelves and drawers. The desk top with hinged lid and raised storage and on two boxes is equipped with eight drawers and a plinth base. The Office is divided into four sections (upper section, top and plinth) to facilitate movement. Supplied with original keys-locking mechanisms in good working order.
