Herbarium - sewing & collage

Artistic herbarium, bouquet garni. Mixed technique combining sewing, collage and carefully picked and dried plants. 15 X 21 cm. Framed under glass, raw wood frame. Unique work. By using sewing and thread to attach the different dried plants, each herbarium expresses a particular fragility and poetry. This fixation by the thread appears like a scar, a moment of life which marks the living. The chosen plants are picked and dried throughout the seasons that nature and the walks offer us.
