Description
Faience of lunéville, keller & guérin. Trio of slightly hollow plates, rose decoration. Stamp lunéville k & g on the reverse. Model of old earthenware, a little yellowed, a shine on the reverse of the clearest. It was the keller and guérin family that managed the lunéville factory from 1786 to 1923, after sébastien keller bought the earthenware factory from the chambrette family, following the bankruptcy of 1785. For 137 years, the kg crest has been the signature of all the productions that go through all the sets that have made lunéville famous, in particular the influences of art nouveau whose main center is nancy. It was around 1832 that keller jr. Joined forces with his brother-in-law guérin to give birth to this kg brand and it was in 1892 that the kg bought the saint-clément factory whose production they dedicated to artistic earthenware with the collaboration of great names such as emile gallé, ernest bussière, edmond lachenal, alfred renaudin, joseph and pierre mougin, geo condé, etc... Clean, fast and neat shipping or hand delivery to paris / laon. 24 X 3 cm.
