The iconic groovy chair model f598, designed for artifort and also known as the m chair, is a model designed with soft sculptural curves. The pieces have original upholstery and foam in very good condition. Almost like new! 👌 Mint condition. Designer: Pierre Paulin. About Pierre Paulin. Born in Paris, Paulin moved to Burgundy after university to train as a stone carver with the intention of becoming a sculptor. He was recruited to work at artifort and encouraged to develop pieces combining lightweight, durable materials with sculptural forms. By the 1960s, Paulin's name was well known throughout Europe and the Americas, prompting commissions and design work for elite clients.
