Antique Louis XV style wooden footstool

This antique french louis XV wooden stool footrest is upholstered in original tapestry style fabric and trimmed with small nails around the perimeter and turned legs. We can tell this is a very old footstool and was cherished. The handmade tapestry and trim were added to this at some point. We can see the evidence of where the original covering was attached on all four sides. The wood is absolutely beautiful with a wonderful patina! We did not change the original fabric upholstery, depending on the look you want to create you can change the fabric quite easily, or leave as is.
