Very rare, color lithographed plate of the rules of the goose game, numbered 269 and published in 1870. It is engraved by haguenthal (1822-1881) this plate therefore represents the rules of the goose game with in its center the rule described and all around 63 vignettes decorated with life scenes and genre scenes, all framed in the four corners by landscapes. It is written in vignettes 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6: typ lito, haguenthal, publisher at, pont à mousson, meurthe, deposited. Elie haguenthal, founded the artistic lithography of lorraine in pont à moussant in 1850, more than 1, 600 workers worked there and he produced a thousand different plates per year. Regularly awarded at industry product exhibitions in metz. The company was sold in 1880 to marcel vagné condition: it has numerous folds, an accident in the center of the fold as well as a few stains and two small holes. It is slightly warped. It is placed in a brown wooden frame with some dents with a plexiglas window. The board is cut in the margin. The colors are very fresh, the vignettes are richly decorated and colorful. Ideal for a collector or to decorate a toy store, restaurant, hotel. Frame size h 45 cm l 53 cm lithograph size: h 37 cm l 47 cm.
