Modular bookcase by the designer George Nelson from the 70s. This ingenious system (CSS = comprehensive storage system) allows you to place these elements wherever you want on the metal uprights in order to make a composition adapted to your needs. This set consists of: a double-door module, a drawer module, an open module with lighting, a set of 8 shelves and a curved shelf (not shown on the composition) for displaying books. The 4 metal uprights are to be fixed to the wall for perfect support (possibility of shortening the height if necessary). Then the shelves and modules hang on clamping legs that slide in the rails on the wall. This bookcase is a real asset for those who want to combine practical storage with aesthetics. The set is made of wood with blackened stained oak veneer. Presence of the stamp of the international furniture publisher inside the boxes. Condition report: I have posted a large number of photos that allow you to get a clear idea of its condition. This set is in very good condition, no breakage, no missing elements in the frames. It is vintage so it contains slight scratches and surface rubbing in some places.
