Vintage metal and formica desk with 2 drawers, circa 60's

Vintage mid-century desk with 2 drawers, circa 1960. The top is golden blonde and brown formica with a "faux wood" effect, with a black formica border (see photos.) it sits on a black tube frame. 'steel, with inverted hairpin legs with their original tips, and a footrest bar. (see photos.) there is a plywood storage compartment, with 2 chamfered drawers covered in formica, which can be opened using the sculpted handles below each. The 2 drawers are clean and open and close correctly. Only a very slight resistance on the second drawer, which should disappear over time, with use. The piece is in very good overall condition, original and vintage with some light marks, signs of age and previous use commensurate with time, as well as a patina of time on the overall structure, top, edges, the drawers and the metal structure. (see various photos.) note: a very slight difference in height (0.4 cm), between the center and the edges of the top, which can be expected for a piece of this age. We believe the metal structure may have been refurbished at some point by a previous owner. The desk is stable and sturdy. It has only been delicately cleaned and polished while respecting its original patina. All photos are taken in natural light, so colors may vary depending on the brightness, angles and perspective in which they are viewed.
