Description
Ancient flycatcher. Height 20 cm - circumference 50 cm - weight 490 gr. The flycatcher is an insect trap, which was originally intended for flies and was later used for wasps. A flycatcher is a glass container into which a sweet liquid must be poured to attract flies. A flycatcher could be placed on the table: by the feet the flycatcher is raised, insects can pass underneath, or hang, either by a cord attached to the neck or for the most recent, thanks to a small metal rod located in the bottle and whose curved end allows it to be suspended from a branch.
