Glass holder display tray in gold metal orfèvrerie christofle 19th century

Rare display, old glass holder in golden metal, christofle 19th century goldsmiths. Numbered elegant support or display for 6 glasses in gold metal from the prestigious goldsmith house christofle. It is made of gold-colored metal, 4-legged tray with a central handle. Subtle floral decoration in louis XV style. Subtle work of the openwork decoration of the glass supports a rare and delicate piece for decoration and/or a collection. Dimensions: 23.2 X 15.5 cm height with handle: 25 cm diameter of the 4 supports in the center approximately 5.5 cm the 2 supports on each end are slightly larger: approx. 6 cm weight: 930 grams. Presence of “christofle” hallmarks + goldsmith’s hallmark and another unidentified hallmark. Goldsmith's mark: the symbol is composed of a scale with a bee between the plates, surmounted by four stars, two branches below and the letters cc, period 1853-1935. Presence of numbering under the base, on the outline: 117 845 good general condition. The gold-colored metal is aging and shows traces of oxidation. It is in its own juice, enhancing its character. Delicacy of the decorations. The structure is in good condition, no weaknesses. Slight imbalance at the feet, one of the 4 feet does not fit well to the surface (hardly visible).
