1950s “Cubana” Chair by Floris Fiedeldij for Artimeta, Netherlands

A lovely side chair, model “cubana”, designed by floris fiedeldij and manufactured by artimeta in the netherlands around 1950. This elegant chair is a truly recognizable piece of mid-century dutch design! It has a tubular black lacquered metal frame with round seat and nicely shaped backrest, both upholstered in high quality yellow fabric. The colours and materials contrast really nicely and all add to the beautiful modern style of this eye-catching find! It remains in very good vintage condition with minor wear consistent with age and use, preserving a beautiful patina.
