wicker armchair

This charming woven wicker armchair (or hazelwood according to some sources) which probably dates from the 50s or 60s has come a long way! When I found it, it was to try to bring it back to life. Indeed, although still very solid structurally, it had around fifteen broken decorative rods around its base, forming a fairly large hole at the front. And ultimately i'm not unhappy about having tackled it, and a little proud of the result too; ) I recovered similar rods from a structurally damaged and therefore unsaveable piece of furniture and I replaced the missing or broken rods of different ways, sometimes completely, sometimes by replacing only the broken part (for this one I inserted a metal point in the center of the two pieces to be assembled)...and the result, not perfect obviously, is still rather satisfactory (the last photo shows the most visible repair). This armchair will have an extra life! I also cleaned it carefully, a lot of work to pass a brush into all the accessible nooks and crannies. It nonetheless remains in its original state, with various marks from its previous lives (wear, abrasions, discoloration, etc.) and dust in inaccessible places (except perhaps with a forced air blower). It measures 80 cm in maximum height, 35 cm in seat height, the seat is a circle of approximately 46 cm in internal diameter, the base has a diameter of approximately 58 cm. And the maximum width is approximately 60 cm. The cushion (see one of the photos), which seems original to me, and which I put in the washing machine, is not in bad condition but it is worn, a new cover would be appropriate.
