Louis XIII style blackened walnut desk, late 19th century, turned legs, one drawer

Here is a pretty little louis XIII style desk or table. The legs are nicely turned, probably blackened walnut or oak. No doubt about the time, late 19th century. The patina is pretty, the furniture is chic and elegant. You will note that the reel has been broken and reglued, we report missing parts and traces of wear and friction in places. This is an unprepared, unrestored piece of furniture, defects due to age must be accepted, this piece of furniture still remains largely presentable.
