Oil on panel, "interior illuminated in the evening at saint gilles croix de vie", titled on the back. Signed lower left charles perron (1893-1958) Framed. Period: xxth. Dimensions: view 35 X 27 cm, framed 52 X 42 cm. Good condition. Charles-clément francis perron was born in plessé in 1893 and died in nantes in 1958. At the school of fine arts in nantes, he was a pupil of r. Collin, laurent and l. Roger. He exhibited at the salon des artistes français from 1921. He won, among other things, the silver medal at the universal exhibition of 1937, the prix de rome. Honorary curator of the museum of fine arts of nantes, he was the subject in 1988 of a retrospective at the hôtel du département de loire-atlantique on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of his death (in bénézit).
