Vintage Enamel Sign - Breath

Foreign vintage safety signs often give you a less serious interpretation of what they used to warn for. "breath with me", the prodigy sang in their nineties hit. "you can('t) safely breath in here" is what this sign could have been saying in the late sixties. Originates from bulgarian charcoal mine. Metal plate with enamel in yellow and black. Nicely hand made with slight relief. In fairly good condition, but contains small scars from the tooth of time. Base size: 40 cm. Two original drilled holes make it easy to fix 'm on the wall.
