Description
English epns alfenide sprinkler dating from the late nineteenth or early twentieth century. The upper part is made of alfenide (solid white metal of great hardness imitating silver created in 1850) in good general condition, with the defect of being slightly deformed on a part (see photos), which does not hinder the sprinkling. The lower part in transparent glass faceted in good condition, clean, without shine. The alfénide factory was bought in 1880 by christofle. Alfénide goldsmith's hallmarks, epns signature. Height 14 cm. Diameter of the base 7 cm.
