Small hand-painted Indian chest

Former indian jewelry box bought from an antique dealer in southern india (in cochin). It is entirely hand-painted, the work is remarkable. The same maharaja is painted on both sides. Height: 30cm. Depth: 15cm. Width: 25cm. Equipped with 3 drawers, it can be used as a jewelry box, a tobacco box, a make-up box; it can be enhanced in a bathroom, bedroom or living room. It will give a colorful and bohemian touch to the room where it is! This object is in excellent condition. The painting is very well preserved, even though it must be more than 80 years old.
